FTP protocol.

FTP is a protocol resulting from TCP/IP world. It is of this fact present on multiple architectures.

TBT/400 has this protocol, as well as Client as Server. The implementation is completely made safe and automated.

Internet protocol

TBT/400 supports TCP/IP protocol. It has FTP protocol protected and automated as well as Client as Server.

Internal protocol - Remote maintenance.

TBT/400 propose an internal protocol adapted to the structure of the AS/400 files.

This protocol, with the client's agreement, is at least open for receiving incoming traffic on the site. This allows data transmission of OS/400 objects, and therefore remote maintenance (delivery of PTF, new versions etc.). There is therefore absolutely no requirement for the operating complexity of a SNADS type network (which is, moreover, internal-network oriented etc.).
